ABOUT STEPH

From challenge, embrace change, create extraordinary

Steph believes we can all do, be and achieve more than we think is possible.

1 Big Goal provides safe, non judgemental coaching that helps you explore and discover what is possible in your life.

In a world where we struggle to fit in and be the same, she helps you to become your own kind of different.

Steph has always had helping and caring at the core of her values. Growing up in adverse home life conditions, but having the freedom of the mountains allowed her to build her own unique resilience mechanism.

Shaken by a personal crisis in the 90’s, unknowingly, this moment was going to be the one that would shape the next 25 years of her life, and more.

Having worked in the emergency services for over 25 years, life got really tough, her spark began to die and her passion for life was diminished.

After a number of years of witnessing the scenes that were hard to forget, she found herself into the clutches of PTSD. Deciding that this wasn’t going to be the thing that defined the rest of her future, Steph chose to face the demons head-on and create an exciting new journey.

With the love and support of her girls, she was able to open up to vulnerability, share her story and thus, ‘1 Big Goal’ became her new adventure.

“I decided to work with Steph after turning 50 but I then decided that I was a big fraud as I’m not a goal setter so how could I set 1 Big Goal!

Steph gave me tools and encouragement to find the resources that I needed and gently kept me accountable the whole way through our sessions. She has a calm and gentle wisdom about her that immediately made me feel comfortable and safe.

It was also interesting how my goal evolved slightly and I was encouraged to explore this too.

I feel so much stronger and able to live my life the way that I want to, rather than how I think other people want me to be. I feel so much happier and stronger. I would definitely work with Steph again and I recommend her to anyone.”
